It is our responsibility to safeguard the natural resources, to protect the fragile Danubian Eco-balance and to preserve the variety of the fauna species in the biggest European river. Giving nature more than taking from it: this is our leading policy. That is why Beluga AD releases twice a year thousands of young artificially bred survival-fit sturgeon fish into the waters of the Danube where they take up their natural course to the Black Sea.
Being one of the most important local economic agents we furthermore play a special social role in the region. Beluga AD has established long-lasting supply contracts on fair conditions with the professional fishermen from Vidin and has thus contributed to the creation of more prosperity in the town and its whereabouts.
